Hello! I'm Koko, your eco-friendly assistant. How can I help you with recycling today?

Hi! I just bought a plastic bottle from the convenience store. Why do I need to remove the label? Can't I just throw it away as is?

In Korea, transparent PET bottles must have labels and caps removed for proper recycling. The label goes in general waste, the cap in plastic recycling, and the clean bottle in the transparent PET bin. This ensures better recycling quality!

That's complicated... Also, I have food delivery containers with some sauce left. What should I do?

You must rinse them thoroughly first! In Korea, containers with food residue contaminate recyclables and will be rejected. Wash them clean, then put them in the plastic recycling bin.

Got it, thanks! This is very different from my country.
